Last week, I finished the
P90X workout program. I don't want to get into details about the program. In short, it's a workout routine that last for 90 days where every day of the week works out a different part of your body.
I hadn't originally planned on taking this challenge. My brother was the one who bought the
P90X DVDs because he was inspired after he found out his friend lost 50 lbs from the workouts. I figured I might as well try it too. It turned out that he never even started because it looked too intense for him and I was the one who benefited from his $136.99 purchase.
The first week is the hardest. My body was sore every single day because the workouts were new. Some workouts I really hated, like yoga, but now, it's not so bad. I still can't do a
half moon properly but the
crane pose is a piece of cake now. My body is a lot more flexible now too.
In terms of strength and endurance, there is definite improvement. As far as physical changes, though, I'm not too sure. I think there are some, but it's probably minor. I didn't take the supplements as suggested nor did I follow the suggested diet plan, and you guys know how much I love to eat. There's no way I'm going to give up food. I'd rather never have than 4% body fat than to give up food.
I know, I know - you just want to see half-naked pictures of me now. I originally wasn't going to post these pictures up to the public and have been privately updating on
my other site instead, but I guess I have nothing to be ashamed of. Still got flab but definitely better than average. Can you see a difference? --Other than my hair getting longer. I really need a haircut. It's so long right now that I've been too lazy to style it in the mornings.

keep it up! *thumbs up*
Good Job Bruce Lee...I mean Jonas.
I don't see any major differences but i'd have to agree on everything you said. The first week was a mother..
Well, if I pick it up again, I would need to start somewhere in phase one again. I actually did a week do phase two and my brother had me try out 4 new sets that were added to the P90X collection.
By the end of phase one i was 175 again. Total surprise since I was 190 before... but... im back up to 185.
I'll try to pick it up again next week. It's just hard when I cant visit the gym for those arms and back days... i need an iron gym...
i knew this thing would be a piece of cake for you! haha. but for ppl like me, omg! die!
i can see a difference in the first pics (the side view) and in the final before/after, plus i definitely see it in your arms! if anyone makes me mad, im gonna have you beat them up :)
congratulations on sticking to this, im so proud of you!
More defined. Good job!
u need a haircut
i see more muscle definition :)
Hey question, how long is the program everyday? I'm considering doing it in the winter months when I don't want to exercise outside in the snow haha. Thanks!
Oooh, I see a lot more definition in the shoulders and triceps, for sure. Looks like you lost some body fat so your torso is more defined. Good job!
Did they pay you to do this?
Can't really see the difference!
oh la la! =D
Wow! Great job. You're definitely more defined now.
whoa Bruce Lee! lol
@xlcrmlx - @LostSock21 - uh, yeah, i wish i could get ripped like bruce lee! he's a little on the skinny side though.
Nice!
i don't see anything different.
The difference is noticeable even though you are quite fit to begin with. There's more definition and detail. As for the flab... it's minimal.
You've done a great job! Congrats.
Psh.
I say you're faking it and sucking in your guts.
Hehehe...
There has to be a video of you doing the program.
=D
That... would be cool.
nice, good job ! :D
Wow, you're ripped! You must workout until you want to throw up to maintain a body like that though. haha.
Nice! You've achieved a good workout routine, even though you O.D. on those greasy donuts and fries! I need to try out your workout as well!
Holy Moly Roly Poly!!! that's smokin' hawt!!
